Over 1200 students wrote this print.  We had students from Hong Kong, Japan, the USA and Canada.  Altogether over 19 stories are being published (this includes some non-fiction titles).

Wow, I can feel the excitement in the air.  The Gala is only days away….I have been busy preparing the handmade favors, making sure all the details are handled and collecting some last minute donations for the Silent Auction. This week, World Teacher Aid was featured in the Norfolk Hub, a good news publication in the Norfolk Area.

Well, our first group of donors have arrived home safely this week, after experiencing ten memorable days in Kenya.

The time is coming up fast. Our WTA group trip leaves for Kenya this coming Wednesday. They will get a chance to experience Kenya and see how they have helped make a huge difference in the lives of hundreds of children.

Soccer jerseys are coming in like crazy. Big thank you to everyone who has donated not only their old uniform, but also soccer balls, socks and old shoes. Thank you!

Learn how a local soccer team are making a huge impact!

A big++ thank you to a local Golden Eagle Soccer Team, who are working together to help collect enough soccer uniforms for the school that World Teacher Aid just opened this past March.

They are a team who are dedicated to giving back to those in need, the team has organized cake sales, car washes and many other initiatives to help those around the world.

We are excited to have them on board to help our first school. The children of Nakuru will LOVE their new soccer uniforms!
