Book Sales at JPS

Wow, this past month four students at JPS have really impressed me. Their dedication to raising funds for World Teacher Aid has not gone unnoticed by their peers and staff members.

Derek, Adam, Rikki and Kerry have all volunteered their time during recess breaks to sell not only Write to Give Books, but also old books that have been replaced in our school library.

They started with two tables stacked of books to sell, now they are down to 1/2 of one table! Way to go!

What an outstanding display of dedication to helping others in Developing Nations – I am so proud of the four of you and I know your teacher, Mr. Slator is as well.
