As the month comes to an end and the annual WTA trip nears, our various projects are going on well. We’re in a brisk effort to have every school launch ready for the trip.
In Baraka Shalom (newest community), construction is going very fast in order to be (almost) done by the first weeks August when the donor trip happens. Right now, we are building all the eight classrooms concurrently. The site is a buzz with a multitude of people and activities occurring all at once. In fact every class has been assigned its own workers and they are carrying on their activities independent of each other.
In Lemolo community, we have completed the construction of Bright Hope Lomolo Secondary School. Everything is done except for painting of the administration block. We have built four classrooms for now (more to come next year), a laboratory building and an administration block.
Lastly, construction is almost done in Haji farm. The high school’s four classrooms are in the final stages of completion. Everything will be done in the next two weeks so that the builders working here can move to help in Baraka Shalom school.
